So did it also cause associated gravity waves? Would be nice to get that theory proven or put to rest.

I'm not even convinced the fridge light goes off when I shut the door, so Gravitational Waves are certainly outside of my comfort zone :lol:

I thought Gravity Probe B was looking for exactly that kind of thing. A double collapsar should cause a bit of a ripple I'd have thought!

Maybe the lack of any kind of info on that side of things would suggest they haven't really detected anything on the gravitational waves front?
