The original Quatto is gone and the 10CF hasn't arrived yet :( just as well really I did promise to finish the garden at the new house before I got my scopes unpacked .....

It's wasn't getting as much use as the ED80 and Mak180 so decided to sell the Quattro until I had a more permanent set up. Which hopefully will be within six weeks :)

Weight was a factor in the replacement but because the 10S was a bit unwieldy and needed to total strip down and careful handling on my tripod neither of which would be a real issue with a more permanent set up but I may take it to a star party of two so thought I'd go carbon :)

How about the 190 is all good and as advertised ?

Understood Tom, yes the MN190 is all it's made out to be optical wise without being unweildly! Just need a few clear nights now for it to earn it's keep!

Have just stripped off the motors and gears on the Flexi-Dob and turned it into a manual Dob, this was mainly due to excess backlash which was a total pain!!

Ordered a setting circle off Mike and a Wixey off Rob, so nearly sorted for EMS2!

Cheers
