For starters a version mainly from the ODK14 but with additional TEC140 data from a couple of years ago. Using the TEC data meant downsizing the image somewhat but it was lovely data, too good to ditch. All done with Yves van den Broek.

I then resized the new data to refine the Cocoon itself in a widefield from the Tak FSQ85.

Composite imaging (combining focal lengths) is pretty easy in Registar but in order to get a seamless transition I blend the images in Photoshop 'by hand,' so to speak.

Great image Olly. Just taken delivery of an IPS monitor and is an excellent image to show it off :)

Olly that wide field is something else.


Love the dark lanes running down through the center.
