Guest peepshow Posted August 27, 2013 Share Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) I have added 4 adjusting screw stops to my BD tracker in order to get good polar scope alignment with NCP. (The problem is to accurately align the scope with the axis of the tracker's hinges.) BTW the polar scope is made from Wickes toilet pipe. The scope is spring loaded against the stops as piccy shows. Sighting on a house 1000ft away and carefully adjusting the set screws I can get within an error of only 6 inches. This is only about 2 arc minutes error on the tracker's hinges. If it works OK I shall call it the "Wickes Wizard" If not I shall flush it all down the rest of the toilet pipe Edited August 27, 2013 by peepshow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
