Looked out of the open bedroom window to be greated by orion on his side, fully above the horizon; Aldebaran and the Pleiades high in the sky; Castor and Pollux also 30 degrees above te horizon (though behind an orange street light); and a magnificant bright disc in tr middle of Gemini.... Brantuk Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Fabulous to know Orion is back - I've been watching for it in the very early hours but the horizon's been too murky to see the lead stars coming up.
