Woke up with a full bladder!

Looked out of the open bedroom window to be greated by orion on his side, fully above the horizon; Aldebaran and the Pleiades high in the sky; Castor and Pollux also 30 degrees above te horizon (though behind an orange street light); and a magnificant bright disc in tr middle of Gemini.... Jupiter.

Blimey, the winter sky nearly is here.

Exciting.

Fabulous to know Orion is back - I've been watching for it in the very early hours but the horizon's been too murky to see the lead stars coming up. It's good seeing Andromeda and the Plieades though which are up around midnight. :)
