What settings did you use? Did you play with it on the computer or just publish it as was?

300mm, think it was at f5 and iso 400 :)

 

Did have a bit of a play with the curve because it was a bit bland, and it was a bit light in the background.

Was your tounge planted firmly in your cheek when you made this comment?.

I have never seen so much Moon detail  in a wide field shot before, just love the blue sky and foreground silhoutte.

I didn't, just when I was looking at the full size jpeg when I was first looking at it, it looked noisy! Looks a lot better after I downsized it

Crop it to get rid of the ropey edges, then submit it to one of the magazines.

I keep forgetting those edges are there and need removing!
