First attempt at LRGB

Tonight was the first clear night I have had since my RGB filter set arrived.

Despite the glaring moon I decided to have a go anyway.

I tried to go for M33 but with Mr Blobby so close it was an impossible task.

I swung the scope around away from Blobby and settled on M 81 / 82

Just wanting to see what it was all about I only took a small number of subs to enable me to get a complete set in tonight's session.

GT 81

Atik 314 L

Baader RGB filter set.

Lum using the Baader HA filter 12 subs at 300 seconds.

Red 12 subs at 300 seconds

Green 12 subs at 300 seconds

Blue 12 subs at 300 seconds.

Stacked each set in DSS with some flats and bias subs I found from the other night. Not the right way I know but I was in a hurry.:blush:

Processed very badly in PS 6.

So here we have it.

Not much to look at but at least I have made a start on yet another steep learning curve.
