Won't be using a scope, just a camera for some long widefield exposures (maybe with a 300mm lens if the tracking is good enough?) http://www.astrobuysell.com/uk/propview.php?view=73813 Or should I just save up for half a century and get an EQ5? The tripod is appalling and the feel in the motion is dreadful by comparison. I would seriously advise to go for the 5 and if you are even half thinking that a scope might be put on it at some point for astrophotography I would seriously consider waiting longer and go for the HEQ5.
