M1 in LRGB

Recommended Posts

After adding yet another panel to my Heart Neb mosaic I turned my attention back to M!.

I decided to try to add some RGB to the HA image I took a couple of weeks ago.

GT 81

Atik 314 L

Lum - 19 subs at 300 seconds with the Baader HA filter

Red - 19 subs at 300 seconds

Green - 19 subs at 300 seconds

Blue - 19 subs at 300 seconds.

All layers stacked in Maxim

Combined in PS 6

Now bearing in mind I have very little idea what I am doing with this RGB stuff I am quite please with the result.

Wide field.

Guest Kheldar

Good start Graham :D

As per Steve though, your channels do not appear to be aligned correctly - or alternatively did you refocus between filters (should do this)

good start for rgb

not sure you have quite lined up how are you aligning them?

Steve

I was thinking along the same lines Steve.

Problem was I had cropped the HA image so there was a size difference in the images.

Lined them up by eye in PS 6 .
