Despite Mr Blobby I just had to get out tonight and finish this off.

All 300 second subs.


 


Lum 31 subs


Red 21 subs


Green 21 subs


Blue 21 subs


 


Stacked and combined in Maxim.


Quick polish in PS 6.

OK, either its my eyesight or Focus is slightly off or layers not all lined up.


Seems to be lacking in colour specifically red.

Andy you have confirmed exactly what I thought.

I have no idea what I am doing when putting one of these together.

It is very much trial and error -- mainly error :lol:

Cannot get the red to come through so I am obviously doing some thing wrong in the processing.

I will have another go later on.

That's cool graham. The stars are nice and round so guiding is all good. Focus is a little out to me also but like Andy said May be a layers thing as LRGB imaging-I know nothing but I am guessing it is not easy at all so damn good show IMO.I particularly like that little double you've caught in bottom left of frame-do you know what it's called Graham?

I'm not familiar with Maxim but when I've combined planetary RGB images in photoshop I tweek the saturation/colour balance of each layer while viewing the complete image prior to flattening the layers, also try differant combining methods ie. Screen, addition, etc..

well graham, not sure what you done either.... the red is def off somewhere. you can see that in the stars.


i will leave it to the geeks to sort you out on that one :wacko:  but image looks as though it will be a good one :)
