Got up this morning about 3am to beautiful clear skies, seeing looked quite steady too.

I set the scope up and put my new RGB filters and wheel in the imaging train. This capture is with the red filter. I have also green and blue but have yet to have time to figure out how to process the image into colour as i was at work early so was a little limited for time.

I think the image shows promise and is a great improvement over my old web cam. Europa is visible on the left.

Taken with Helios 8 inch newt, ASI120MM, 2X Televue barlow and extension. 65% of 2500 frames, stacked in Registax 6.jupr_zpsae26754a.jpg
