philjay Posted November 2, 2013 Share Posted November 2, 2013 Im after one of those tubular aluminium tripods that skywatcher et all used put all their scopes on from eq2 all the way up to eq5. It must have the head and spreaders still and the accessory tray would be nice but not essential. philjay Posted November 3, 2013 Author Share Posted November 3, 2013 I was going to make a new set of shorter legs for my HEQ5 tripod and swap them when I wanted to do imaging, (less height = less buffeting by wind, eg EMS2 and Kelling) but if I can get a new head and spreader I might as well make a full tripod.
