Guest Mr T Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 I made an attempt to observe Mirach's Ghost NGC 404, it is difficult due to being so close to the bright star Mirach, I tried moving the star just outside the field of view, but the image gets a bit distorted at the edge of the field because of coma. I felt pretty sure I had observed it, but thought I would confirm with some short exposures, anyway I stacked and processed them and confirmed what I had observed.
