Mel15 in IC1805 as HST

Gathered the subs for these as Ha, OIII and SII over a number of nights.
The Ha version I uploaded earlier and managed to get more Sii and OIII last night to build up an HST palette image

Following some of the comments I've reprocessed the image using PS levels and the colour histogram to balance out the colours a little:

nice detail there but how did you process the hubble, seems to be a lot of green, although i assume that is the Ha

Sheila - the Ha was the major component of this one and probably too strong for the OII & SII, its certainly not perfect and more O3 etc needs gathering when conditions improve.

Sorry Glider but I find your rendition OTT on contrast and its lost so much detail in the process

It's largely personal choice; well that's what Nik said at his talk.

I think Gliders version give a better depth perception that the original; i can't see any loss of detail, but then i am on a iphone!

It's still a great image whatever; i'll still to attempting to image solar system objects for now, far easier :)

Yes i am sure more data on the Oiii and Sii would help a lot as they are much weaker.  I had the same problems with the Ha drowning out

the other data.  Hope you can get more data soon, image will look good

I think of prefer the colours f e second one but the detail of the first. Like people have said its a very personal interpretation for each individual with astro imaging. I like attributes of both :)
