Go for the 200 if you can, if you get a 150 in 6 months maybe a year you'll be kicking yourself you didn't go bigger to start with, I am!!!

She's asking top dollar for it - generally bank on around 65% of new price for second hand gear. It's a smashing ota and knowing Carol you can be sure it's in super condition - but I'd want it nearer £210 - deffo under £250. They're only £316 brand new with full warranty. :)

Depends what you want; alt-az, equatorial, motorised, good enough for astrophotography... If the latter, HEQ5 (second hand £400-600), NEQ6 (second hand £600-800).

For your budget Simon you should be able to get a manual EQ5 mount for around the £100 mark s/h (also the Celestron CG5) plus or minus £25. You could also get a 150P or 150PL ota for around the same price. You can always fit motors to either of the mounts later if you wanted to try imaging. :)
