I'm trying to picture Phil in his concert gear in the 70's.

Long hair?? :)

Maybe he will post a pic :)

Love the band list.

Cool list.

I wasn't old enough to make the 70's bands, but made up for it by doing Glasto twice. I wasn't into the Orb, but man, did they have a light show, we watched it from two fields away, and it was massive.

The sound went to the Prodigy, that bass shook your lungs.

I just settle for blowing cobwebs out of the speakers now and again, gets the neighbours back for the yappy dog.

I got to see Faithless twice, once at one of the V Festivals (2006 maybe?) and at Rock City, where they were amazing.

The thing is, back in the day, what they played on stage was what came out of the speaker stack, and invariably, they had written and composed it themselves.

Now days it's all passed through a computer and polished up, before the cover of a song written by someone else is played in some fashion even the Satan himself would never approve of.

Old, but never past it!

And most the rubbish now is made on computers too, doesn't even sound like proper music!

Liked to have seen Guns'n'Roses !

To be honest. It wasn't their greatest performance. It was monsters of rock when they followed DLR on stage.

I got plucked out of the crowd at the front. Some poor souls were not so fortunate that day.  :(
