Decided to have a play last night so I loaded up the mount with my old Helios 200 Newt.

The conditions were terrible to say the least but what the heck it got me out in the obs.

Good stuff graham :) we were all chatting about this last night at the quarterly meeting at Belper. Phil and ibbo told me that it's the jet stream being directly over us that is causing the terrible seeing at the moment. Great effort for the conditions we've got. It was cloudy at Belper so no observing was done.

Yeah nice. I like one best. Clearly got lots of detail trying to get out; will be better when the air is more stable. But cracking go Graham.

I looked at the jet stream link which is fascinating. I'm hoping the jet stream was the cause of my recent spectacular failure else I'm doomed.
