Astrocookie Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 12 x 200s subs at 800 ISO 6 Darks, 6 Flats Conditions not ideal ( Poor seeing, 98% humidity) Pretty happy for first attempt using my DIY setup. Rob suggested replacing the battery with a power supply lead. (Cheers for the tip Rob) Easily done but is that the only source of the heat? I know webcams can suffer amp glow. I've just remembered there was an article a while ago in S@N about doing M13 without burning out the core. Perhaps the same principles apply.
