Due some Dew control

I need to make a dew shield for the 200p. I know the recognised method is a campping sleeping mat, however I am looking at them and can't seem to find black ones. Is it important to have a black one or will it not matter too much. Could I paint one that is the "wrong colour" if so what sort of paint? What other materials could be used instead of a camping mat?

I looked at Neoprene sheet, but that is quite expensive and either comes in much smaller pieces, or way too big.

Am I right in thinking I read somewhere that the optimum length is approx 2.5 x the appeture? So for the 200p I would be looking at approx 500mm.....

Just use the complete width of the camping mat.

Here is the best I could find after a quick 2 minute search.......

I just bought a proper one for £31 but I am a bit partial to a spot of DIY.

You can usually adjust the length by sliding it up/down the tube - make sure there's enough to grip the tube and hold it firmly in place then adjust as required :)

Decathlon at Giltbrook £2.99 http://www.decathlon...id_8131781.html

(Bought one last week).

That's far worse! SWMBO will add a significant amount to that price, it's next to Ikea!! You've not thought that one through properly! lol

Thanks, I'll pop over later in the week, I've got to go to Ilkeston at some point, so just around the corner.
