Guest peepshow Posted February 7, 2014 Share Posted February 7, 2014 I was seriously thinking about investing in a decent CCD camera and filters this year to dip my toe into narrow band AP. If this present near continuous cloud and rain is to become the weather pattern for the UK, it will not be worth the candle for such expenditure, methinks. Can I have that in writing, please? My type 3 barn door tracker is being upgraded during this weather, now using pre loaded ball races for all the bearings, with ground steel shafts. This might enable me to track well for over 1 hour. I enjoy making things rather than buying. Chinese man say," He who try narrow ban with barn door need wide optimism."
