Up at 05.30 with a bad stomach, I went out into a Moon lit morning with the 10x30 Canon IS bins and saw:

Venus to the  South East

Mars to the South

Saturn to the South West

and the Moon to the West

Interesting to see Arcturus over my head and Ursa Major to the North West.

De caff Coffee and back to bed at 6.30 ish (now!)

Cheers

Ron

Sorry about the stomach Ron, but nice you saw some stuff while the kettle was boiling. I did something similar but no abdominal pain, just woke up early.

It's a shame Saturn is so low this year, i'm going to struggle to see it much from my back garden. Hey ho.

Took this picture from my phone from my bedroom window just; Saturn is the very faint thing at the level of the top of the conifer just to the right;
