Need help to Mod a dob

Have a chat with Daz Type-R, he done loads to his, mainly the bearings and things to make moving it easier.

He's improved on the finders as well.

To improve the view, then better eyepieces would help. These don't have to be expensive, just better than the stock ones that were supplied with it.

Have a look with mine next time we meet, and you will see what I mean.

There shouldn't be any thing else, unless it just needs collimating. These really are good scopes.

1. Add a more expensive lazy susan bearing

2. Do a Azimuth degree circle mod to the base.

3. Add a wixey for the altitude.

4. Add a dual focuser instead of the basic one

5. Add a Telrad finder

6. Add a Secondary mirror heater mod with dew controller.

7. Add a Dew shield

8. Add wheel barrow mod.

9. Add balancing weights to the mirror cell.
