Had a great night tonight.

Getting back to grips with the old 350 D.

Conditions were not the best with crystal clear skies all but wiped out by Mr Blooby.

First up is M31.

I am pretty pleased with how this one turned out.

GT 81

Canon 350 D

85 x 60 second subs at ISO 800

11 Darks

21 Flats

Stacked in DSS

Polished up in PS 6.

Second up is a pretty ropey Leo Trip.

Going to have to do a load more on this to get it to look right.

Graham

Looks like you had a better night over there than in Leicester where there was thin cloud causing problems.

Enjoyed the images as always.

You imaging guys certainly add to the hobby.

Only visual observing here so far :-)

Nice Graham, like M31 with lots of detail. Leo Trip, well I know how difficult that is to process don't !  :)  Good nights work mate.

(Got to say I like these better than your CCD images??)

Cheers

Like those, especially M31, cannot be an easy target with the Moon and getting lower all the time.

Love the dust lanes starting to show in the M31 Graham.

Both nice shots.

Very nice  .

Interesting to see these two images from opposite sides of the sky at the same scale. Just shows how big M31 and even M110 is compared to the triplet.
