A good start for a work in progress, polar ice cap and a little surface detail can be seen, are you adding more frames to it then Steve.

I reckon its a mars learning curve

its much more difficult than Jupiter due to the size and brightness

in its favour it does not rotate as quick so allows a longer avi to be taken without rotation problems

I'm sure I did better with the Toucam last time around

Youve got the polar cap OK Steve and what seems to be the ororgraphic clouds over the Tharsis volcanoes in there I reckon, nice work

Im looking forward to viewing Mars again, got fond memories of last oppossition through a then recently restored vintage 80mm Towa F15, superb views
