After discussions with Steve (ibbo) we came to the conclusion that I needed a longer focal length than the GT81 for this type of stuff when using the canon. So I dusted off my old Helios 200 newt and set it up on the rig. This is the result. Helios 200 Newt Canon 350 D 72 x 180 second subs at ISO 800 11 Darks 11 Flats Stacked in DSS adjusted in PS 6. Still have some issues with the stacking but that could be down to oval stars, it was a bit breezy here last night and the guiding was struggling a bit.
