Guest Fluke Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 First time out with the scope tonight for about 10 days. Had a good 15 mins each on Jupiter & Mars (from about 8pm). First time I've seen the 4 Galilean moons all on one side, and appear like 2 groups of 2 - how often do they line up like that? My first ever view of Mars was at the Belper open evening a few weeks back. Tonight was my first view of her from the back garden. Looked really nice and dead chuffed I could clearly make the polar cap at the top, even the wife was impressed! All these firsts are making me thirsty lol!
