Disconnected and stored away until last night, when I tried to use it the PP9 battery was as dead as a Dodo?? Has anybody else found this? Daz Type-R Posted May 17, 2014 Share Posted May 17, 2014 (edited) I had mine fitted to my standard s/w focuser for over a year before I got my Moonlite and sold the auto focuser to Rob, in that 12-14 month period I got through 2 battery's, and my kit was left in a really cold place as well, so I've had no issues. andyboy1970 Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 I did make up a lead to replace the battery but I forgot that the new 9v supply from my power tank would allow the motor to draw too much current making fine focus impossible.
