Squid and Bat, 27 hours.

We're all mad! 27 hours on one frame... However, the tandem rig makes things more feasible.

So, from one side came 24x30 minutes of 0111 for the Squid (discovered by French amateur Nicolas Outters http://mstecker.com/pages/appoutters.htm in 2011.) That is what you call a discovery! And on the other side we collected 12 x 30 minutes of Ha and an hour per colour. Ha went into red and O111 into green and blue. Plus I eased in some data from an older 6 hour HaRGB image in the Baby Q.

Pre-processed in AstroArt 5, assembled in Registar and post processed in Pixinsight and Ps CS3.

This is a collaboration with Yves Vand den Broek and Tom O'Donoghue and will carry on to include IC1396 in due course.
