Anyyone tried MaximDL 6's multi-star auto-guiding yet?

Hi All,


 


Just wondering if anyone has tried this new feature in MaximDL 6?  Alledgedly it is suposed to improve tracking by minimiziing seeing effects. But when I tried,  it just oscillated wildy.


 


I didn't try too hard to debug it as I had just spent an hour getting the thing to calibrate in the first place and I needed to get the thing imaging so I could go to bed.


 


Massively disappointing to find that this Maxim upgrade has not improved this calibration process in any shape or form.


 


Anyway interested to know if anyway has this working yet and what the results were.
