philjay Posted July 1, 2014 Share Posted July 1, 2014 The clouds stayed away long enough this morning for me to have a proper go with the old 4" F15 achro and Lunt wedge combination. Even though there wasn't a cloud around at the time the image was swimming so I reckon I have overcooked the processing a bit. I may have another go sometime but Im quite pleasedso far as it shows what this old scope can do. Scope = Fullerscopes 4" F15 Deluxe refractor with Lunt Solar wedge fitted with ND and Polarising filter plus IR cut this time to try and sharpen things up a little more Camera QHY IMGOH mono, best 3000 frames from 6000.
