OTA rotators

Recommended Posts

After reading a thread on SGL, I have bought 2 x 9" embroidery rings from Ebay for £5.60 inc. At the moment I am using a large Jubilee clip with padding underneath, I slacken the 2 main tube rings and rotate the OTA for a better viewing position, Using 2 of these wooden rings would make it easier and a more stable set up. I will report on how this works at a later date. Where do people get their idea's from??

I used embroidery rings and they worked fine but found the screw for tightening a bit flimsy. I went back to jubilee clips holding a plastic strip in place

I think I'll leave my old jubilee clip on and try one of these against the bottom ring for a trial run?
