philjay Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Finally put the old 1970s 80mm Towa 339 F15 achro back together after about 8 months of "Ive got to sort that scope out again" promises. So I thought I would give it a go on solar today with the Lunt. I did three pics of the detail not intending to do a mosaic so didn't do any flats. But after processing just I thought what the heck a mosaic will show the positional relationship between the groups. So here it is joins and all. I must admit to neglecting the old Towa lately, I must use it more often, its a cracker. Ive left it on the obs mount now so next clear night I shall give it a go with some doubles.
