Replacement motor focus handset for less than a fiver

It has been pointed out that it would be prudent to put a diode across the output of the dimmer unit to protect it from back emf from the motor which can damage the dimmer unit. Place the diode across the output terminals, cathode to + anode to - use a 1N4001 if you can.
