Wireless cards

Hi,

I have used one of those wireless cards, for normal daytime pics, and works flawlessly, never had a problem, they create there own wireless network, so you get a very strong signal, obviously if you use one for astro imaging the files will be bigger if you use RAW mode, so,that may slow it down slightly, and yes you could do away with a cable, but not if you want to control the camera remotely, you would still need the cable for that, so I would say not a lot of point in using a wireless card if you want to control camera by a PC in an observatory, as you still need the cable, but if not then they are a great idea and work very well.

Regards

Si

very good point !!!
