Next Meeting Dec 17th - Xmas Quiz

Recommended Posts

The next meeting is on Wednesday 17th December and will be our annual Christmas quiz. There will be mince pies and the usual biscuits available from 6:15pm with the quiz starting at 6:30pm. This year the prize for the most correct answers is well worth winning, so get those grey cells warmed up and you chuckle muscles ready, as always, it should be a good fun night to round off the year.

Members are welcome free as always and visitors for a suggested donation of £2. Refreshments available from 6:15pm. If the weather is kind there will be chance to use the 16inch SCT for some planetary observations of Jupiter hopefully. If the weather is not favourable Mr Perkins will bring members up to date with the latest news stories and more.

Memberships will be due from January for 2015, the membership fee will be £15 for the year. We already have some very good speakers lined up including the very popular Paul Money from “Sky at Night Magazine†in March and a special appearance by Miss Hayley Flood who founded the society and was instrumental in the building of the facilities at the school’s observatory. For more information please sign up to the blog or you can find our contact details here

From all at MPOLE we wish you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
