Very interesting video, thanks Martyn.

Just Googled eta carina nebula and found the following interesting website. Seems it contains numerous clusters within or in front of the nebula. A very interesting region. The main nebula is about 6th mag and a massive 3 degrees across! However the visuals in your video are mostly of a tiny region around the actual star as seen by scopes like Hubble...

Thanks Pete, It looks impressive, we should have a Dobs on tour trip to the southern hemisphere, they have loads of good stuff.

Yes, apparently the Magellanic clouds are not only a great naked eye spectacle, but are also jammed full of interesting DSO's for small telescopes :)
