I would recommend Iceland to anyone its a fantastic place will 100% be going back!! I have 15 days holiday to take by end of March. Hmmm? But I wouldn't know if the places you went to, required a car, and out into the sticks. I'd be by myself, so not sure? Guest StevenWhatley Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Hi, was an amazing trip and would recommend it 100%, we were very lucky that we had clear night for the trip we booked, you don't need a coach there are trips booked on it via coach all the time.. We booked the Northen Lights Mystery Tour with one of the main companies called Greyline (there are only 2 the other is Reykjavik Excurtions) who were brill on time and efficient is the Icelandic way!! Yes you could happily go by yourself and enjoy everything we also did the Golden Circle Tour and Blue Lagoon Spa so would recommend them too. Iceland is expensive but not as much as everyone says we even came back with a few hundred quid spending money. Greyline offer the Northen lights tour on the basis if you don't see them that night you can keep rebooking each night until you do for free.
