Having a play with my old Canon 350 D last night fitted to the GT 81.


 


This is 151 X 1/10th of a second subs at ISO 100.


 


Stacked and converted to mono in Registak 3.1 using 14 separate points.

Nice. I was attracted to looking at this because I'm considering a GT81.  What would an equivalent single exposure look like for comparison e.g. 15s @ iso 100 would obvioulsy be blurred due to seeing turbulence.  But what about 1 sec @ iso 1600 or 2 sec @ iso 800 - still long exps that would be susceptible to turbulence, but on the occasions of good seeing, and assuming you got round shutter vibration, just wondered if the single exp would be similar or not. But with 151 exp, I assume the S/N would be far better anyway.
