Here we go then, the Sun today approx 14:40pm


 


Taken with Canon 350d on SW200P with Baader solar film.


Best 23 of 67 exposures 200iso @ 1/1000 second


Stacked in Registax 5.1, polished and annotated in PS5

Closer shot of new AR same as before except used 2x Barlow and is 46 of 76 and at 1/300 sec.

Thanks folks.


 


The seeing was a bit better but I think I am getting back in the groove again too. The "new" Sunspot group numbers are a bit of guess work at the minute as I have not seen the official ones yet but I think they will follow that sequence.


 


There was a huge and I mean epic huge ejection off the limb a few hours ago.

Very nice.


I got an hour of white light visual yesterday, some nice activity up there at the moment.
