What a cheeky Robin

Graham

Recommended Posts

During the winter I used to feed this Robin.

Every day it would come to be fed.

It got so tame or trusting it would sit on the steering wheel in my car and let me feed it by hand.

Well spring has come and it has got itself a mate.

They have set up home in a mower that was used for displays cutting demo's ect by the sales team.

Well not any more this cheeky pair have built their nest on top of the engine.

Pretty dam clever if you ask me, I mean who else has a water proof fibre glass roof on their nest.

The pair are now busy raising the little ones.

I will try Mick but I don't want to disturb them too much as its a bit of a perlava getting the bonnet open to see them.

Good job you found them before starting the mower up. How long do you think they will need to be there? :-)

That's nice Graham, they have found a good spot!

Good job they are not nesting in your scope! That would be you out of action for a few weeks!
