Do you already have the colours or have you still got to grab them? I've found 3 distant ones so far :thumbsup: can't wait for the "full picture", that is by far the best M51 I have seen from an "amateur".

i just stuck to Lum to get as much as possible, i have the colour yet to do.  When we get some more clear skies :D

Just my data. Stephen was using small tak on a different target

I was using the GM mount unguided not the paramount until

I sort out and stop it beating me up :rofl:

Well there's the benchmark. A belting image Sheila, the tidal tail is amazing. That's one to go on the wall when you have it finished.

well got some colour last night and made my first attempt at processing LRGB :wacko:


got it wrong and lost 1/2 my L data.  think i need to go read some instructions :lol:


will have another go when i have more time.  This was quick 15 min process and I


think i did not do what i was supposed to.

Very nice. Love the h-alpha "blobs" in the spiral arms and I think a more distant edge on galaxy bottom left.
