The moon looked great next to Venus go grabbed a couple of shots. The second shot is way overexposed but I quite like the effect. The bright star just below and to the right of the moon is Aldebaran. I had been to a mates house to check out a few mods on his dob and hunt down half a doz galaxies in Leo and M3, but could not see moon and Venus from his backyard, but they looked fab in the sky on the drive back home...
