Our NEXT MAIN MEETING will be held this Friday, 2nd June 2023 from 7:30 pm onwards at The Friends Meeting House, St. Helens Street, Derby, DE1 3GY (next door to Radio Derby). DDAS member Dr Mike Lancaster will be giving a presentation on The Summer Sky. This replaces a talk that was to be given by Dr Emma Chapman from the School of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Nottingham. Dr Chapman has had to postpone her talk until Friday 1st September this year, due to the rail strike that is planned for this Friday.
