Warning!!   Check for spiders before you cap up your scope. I'm looking up this thread cos I've now got spider poo on my objective!!  :angry:


 


I'll try the Baader fluid and cloth.

i know that the lens cell on williams scopes are one piece which just screw onto the front of the tube, so removing the dew shield then unscrewing the cell makes getting at the back of the lens alot easier, i certainly wouldn`t take the cell to pieces though, leave that to the manufactures,

I know its stating the obvious ( i.e. you all know) but don't "light up a fag" after using this fluid. When I first started in IT we used it to clean tape decks and its pretty unforgiving when naked flames are about plus not to good in enclosed rooms for Asthma sufferers - Be Safe
