Darks library??????

yes.

Going to shoot a whole load of sets of Darks at different sub lengths to save me time doing them at night.

Ok, here I go again (will I ever learn -lol) but I thought darks had to be taken at the same temp as the actual subs?

Or does it not matter?

Yes I think it does matter Daz.

Most people just try and get as near as possible.  Some use fridges to put camera in and vary temperature of fridge to get library.

But i suppose of they are close enough

I think the ambient temp messes with the ampglow.

But as it is below freezing in the obs today and if we ever get another clear sky it will also be sub zero it will be ok.

Just out of interest, did you ever solve this problem?

Have you tried using a WiFi enabled card in your camera? Then you would be able to use a separate intervalometer but still have the pictures appear directly on your computer so you could keep an eye on how it was all progressing. You could probably set things up so that the files would be visible on your phone too. If you can't view them your at least be able to see that the files were there, which might be handy.

I don't think the cards are very expensive.

55 clams for an 8 gig card.

If you decide to try I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

Pip pip.

Hi there.

This was a long long time ago.

Yes what I posted up in the thread cured it.

I have sinced moved on to CCD imaging using an Atik 314 L.
