Chris Lintott to give talk on Friday, 6th December

We are delighted to announce that Sky At Night co-presenter Dr Chris Lintott from The University of Oxford will be giving us A Review of 2013 on Friday, 6th December 2013 from 7:15 pm onwards at The Friends Meeting House, St. Helens Street, Derby, DE1 3GY. We will be raffling six signed copies of the book Bang! - The Complete History of the Universe which Chris co-authored with Patrick Moore and Brian May. Coffee is provided during the break. There is a collection which helps pay for the rental of the room which is £1 for members and £3 for non-members. If it is clear there may be an opportunity to look through a telescope from the back garden of The Friends Meeting House. Why not join us for a drink at the Seven Stars afterwards?
