Hmmmm..... I've nailed it half way up a tree trunk in the back garden lol. It's a dream property for any mating robins or bluetits.

Excellent Sheila...reminds me of when we used to breed British finches and on day 5 or something like that we had to ring them...those little skinny were a nightmare to hold.

Looking at the feathers and size they will be going it alone in the next day or so(IMO) - into the big bad world of cats, raptors and humans - good luck to them.
