you`ll be more than welcome Damian, just started putting all the cables, bits and pieces back but will be up and running very soon,


bought a regulated power supply for the mount which needs fitting somewhere near the pier.

i`m off work for the next 3 days, back to work on Wednesday, so if anyone is bored and wants to come round for a look at the just about finished observatory and keep me company for a few hours your more than welcome

Excellent idea Rob - I'd be up for that - working from home drives me nuts sometimes so it would be a good idea to take a few hours out and trip on over to see your obsy. :)

picture of the imaging setup now that everything is finished and fully working,


i`ve also upgraded the threaded rods on the pier plates to M12 from the M10 i used to have when i was using the HEQ5 Pro mount to help with the extra weight of the NEQ6 Pro, all seems very stable and solid.

clear skies needed indeed Ron, been off for 3 days and it`s either very windy or been raining.


at least stargazing live is on tele tommorrow night !

Good job! Off to Frampton Marsh near Boston for Stargazing Live on Wed night but the forecast isn't good! (is it ever!)...

having been busy totally redecorating the living room, i thought i would put the curtains to good use and recycle them for the obsy.
