Popular Post +Bino-viewer Posted October 29, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted October 29, 2023 While in Sheffield on Friday with a bit of free time, i jumped on a train to Kiverton Bridge (around 18min run) and paid a visit to Rother Valley Optics. I always enjoy a visit there (think big kid in a toy shop !) , the staff are great, and i even had a tour of their 'upstairs showroom' which i hadn't seen before. Its a bit like an Aladdins cave up there, i had a good look around, and paid some attention to their Takahashi stand, and an FC100 in particular........ It was just a quick visit, only around 15 mins. My only purchase though was a new flight case, by Baader planetarium, that had nicely done precut foam to take their Morpheus / Hyperion ranges of eyepieces. The 1.25" adapter that came on it didn't feel secure enough and didn't have a compression ring.
