Flippin heck that went quick, it's almost Kelling time yeyyy J

A few more images this month which is a sign that nights are drawing in so here goes

Comets, Asteroids, Meteors

The obvious target this month was the Perseids and folks were out there watching and capturing

Stash caught one going through M31 https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13280-meteor-going-thru-m31-12-aug-2017/ a lucky shot if you are wanting to capture Perseids but unlucky if M31 is the target. Well done.

I like the colours in Sunny Phils shots

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13289-best-of-my-perseids-so-far/

and a nice bright one from Orion

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13307-perseid-13817/

Deep Sky Objects

Ibbo started the month off with a spectacular mosaic of the Veil

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13246-veil-bi-colour-4-pane-mosaic/

and then continued to give us stonking images like

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13259-ic1318-ha-4-pane-mosaic/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13272-sharpless-2-119-ha-4-pane-mosaic/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13301-sharpless-2-119-ha-4-pane-mosaic-more-data/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13310-sharpless-2-129-flying-bat-in-ha/

I reckon he has imaged most of the august sky with these J

Sheila was out imaging and gave us a shot of a part of the Veil

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13286-another-bit-of-sky-the-other-veil/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13328-wizard-neb-wip/

We had a first light from Bagmans cooled 700da, I am watching the results with interest, I can see me putting my 1000d in the freezer for an hour soon :D

Ibbo gave us a nice crescent

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13331-luna-26-7-2017/

and I even got out for the first time in ages and bagged one

Solar

A busy month again, I dont remember there being that many sunny days but folks got out there when the sun did shine

Graham started the month off

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13256-been-playing-again-solar-from-today-06082017/ then carried on with the good work

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13335-solar-from-today-28082017/

Nice to see Perkil8r out in the sunshine again with his kit giving a lovely shot  in white light

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13339-sol-in-wl-31082017/

The rest of the month is down to Ibbo and some excellent images as usual

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13271-sol-10-8-2017-ha/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13285-iss-solar-transit-12-8-2017/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13288-sol-14-8-2017-ha/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13292-sol-15-8-2017/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13296-sol-16-8-2017/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13300-sol-17-8-2017/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13304-sol-18-8-2017/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13322-sol-23-8-2017/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13330-sol-26-8-2017/

Widefield

Brady gave us a stretch of the milky way

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13270-widefield-trials/

Ibbo was foiled by the moon on his all sky shot waiting for the Perseids

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13281-mr-b-upsets-meteor-watching/

Bottletopburly gave us a shot of Saturn in the twilight

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13297-saturn-cricceth-wales/

So, this hasnt been an easy one to choose, there are so many good images this month. However the rules say I have to pick one so the accolade goes to Sheila and the NA Nebula in narrow band.

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13312-ngc7000/

Why?

10 hours worth is some commitment in any bodies book plus the detail and colour just make it a spectacular image.
